hello all.. i know it's been a week since i've last updated.. probably cos i've no time and nothing much to say.. haha.. alright.. shall blog about what happened over the weekend, which was the highlight of my week.. haha..
saturday.. NDP Preview again, it rained.. and i realised that my shoe was spoilt.. the sole was broken.. so rain water was seeping into my socks.. but i've no time to go buy a new pair.. so i guess, i'lljust have to wear that for the actual parade.. haha.. the show was fabulous.. mainly the fireworks.. almost and i say ALMOST 100% of the fireworks.. it was SO BEAUTIFUL!!! imagine the actual day.. 100% fireworks.. it'll be breathtaking.. goodness.. and for the third time, i watched the fireworks alone.. hai~ but this time, there were lots of army personnels around me.. then one of them, who was standing behind me said, "wah.. the fireworks today so nice.. so romantic.. but no girlfriend to watch with me ar.." so funny la.. haha.. everyone seem to be thinking the same thing.. haha.. however, i felt that the preview duty was not as good as previous shows.. there were lots of unhappiness around and stuff like that.. imagine ME, doing my ushering job.. standing there, hurrying people up the stairs as i welcome them to the show.. and some aunty sitting complain i'm blocking her view.. hello.. i'm doing my best already you know.. there isn't anywhere else i can stand.. unless i stand on the steps, which i won't block YOU but i'll jam up the entire passageway.. well, you wanted to sit at the corner of the row what.. what to expect.. then when you want to scold, can you kindly please do it in a language i understand.. don't go complaining to another usher about me la.. tell me straight can.. then after dinner, i went to my spot for dispersal plan.. i stood there, then my IC came to say, sit down, cos can't expect us to stand throughout the whole show ma.. so i sat down, the people behind say i block they're view of the tv in front.. like, hello.. the big screen is in front la.. no need to look at that small-screen tv... so fine, i sit on the stairs.. then people going toilet and stuff like that complain that i'm blocking the way by sitting there.. so where else am i supposed to go.. okay lor.. then i stand throughout the rest of the show lor.. then when everyone was leaving after the show ended, there was this couple that had their butt glued to the chair, and their arms glued to each other.. like.. goodness.. please.. don't hanky-panky at the bay la.. especially when you're sitting on the VIP seats.. like.. pleasee.. know your limits la.. hai~ these people ar.. then some people left their NDP bags behind.. also don't know why they don't want.. so me and my friends went to take la.. since we want it so much.. and the army guy also asked us if we wanted.. cos afterall, it's not brand new and people have already looked thru and taken what the want.. stuff like that.. in the end, we kena scolded by our IC.. she ask why we take and nag at us.. saying we're not being fair to others.. cos others don't get.. but come on la.. you din say cannot take also ma.. and if they're lucky, people leave behind, they also can take what.. i won't complain de lor.. will just say they're lucky la.. anyway, the last show, no one complained about other people taking also ma.. so this week we take, then we kena scolding.. hai~ who cares.. the bags mine le.. haha.. and i'll get another one on the actual day.. haha.. a brand new one.. not like this one i took.. which was wet due to the rain.. yeah!!
and yesterday, i went out to celebrate alvin's birthday.. was supposed to meet alvin at tampines mrt at 1pm.. but i was alittle late la.. cos i was chatting with eugene on the phone.. haha.. opps... met alvin slightly after 1.. then i trick him.. told him i din get him a present.. haha.. he looked alittle disappointed la.. haha.. but i took out the nicely prepared present.. a shirt, put in a nice box, with a card.. haha.. went to orchard to meet some of his classmates and buddies(mainly from MB0601).. went to play pool.. wahlao.. they all experts sia.. then i don't dare play.. haha.. throw face only.. haha.. but rather glad i went.. made new friends.. and whoever said that science people dont know how to have fun is SO WRONG!! they're such a fun group.. really had an enjoyable time.. especially the big joker, sadha.. haha. he really know how to break the ice.. :D oh ya. we were walking along orchard.. and twice we saw the lamborghini.. shang feng kept walking so near it.. just to have a closer look.. haha.. car lover.. then we went to cineleisure for dinner at pastamania.. yamone came to join us then.. nothing much during dinner.. just the guys messing around.. and since there wasn't enough space for all to sit together, we had to split the big group up.. the 2 birthday boys were separated.. and as usual, on birthdays, tricks were played on the birthday boys.. but they were sitting at different tables, so it was very difficult to carry out the trick at the same time.. we actually mixed tabasco sauce, cheese, chilli, pepper, tomato sauce together.. and told them that there was an exothermic reaction.. alvin was the one who fell for the trick, he put his hand over the mixture, and obviously, we pushed his hand into that disgusting mixture.. shang feng on the other table saw and knew what was coming up for him.. so we couldn't trick him.. so in the end, the 2 birthday boys were made to wash their hands in that mixture.. totally wash it.. and without cleaning their hands, go to the toilet to wash.. imagine the pepper and chilli and tabasco.. the hotness soaking into your hand.. ouch la.. haha.. but they gamely did it.. so fun.. really sporty guys.. haha.. but it was so disgusting.. after that, alvin said, he hands were like burning when they were walking to the toilet to wash their hands.. apparently, they washed their hands about 4-5 times to try to get rid of the smell.. haha.. funny people.. after that, they went to play arcade.. they were playing lots of air hockey.. alvin and ah guan vs sadha and darren.. i played once, paired up with yamone.. against shang feng and someone,i can't recall who.. opps.. saddeningly, they won.. but by a margin of 2 only.. haha.. they played so fiercely.. must be gentle when playing with girls ma.. use so much force.. frightening leh.. haha.. then we went to find cake for the birthday boys.. but shops were closed already.. so we din get one.. think they're getting it for them today.. haha.. it was really late when we left.. and seriously, as yamone and i have decided.. it's in times like these when we want to be guys.. can stay out late and all.. and it's in times like these that it seem so good to have a taxi-driver dad.. haha.. alvin's dad came all the way from simpang bedok to centrepoint to pick us up.. it was telling us how people were busy trying to flag down his taxi but he just sped on for the birthday boy.. haha. so nice ar.. BIG THANK YOU TO UNCLE!!! was listening to the talk alvin had with his dad.. i really envy the close relationship he has with his dad.. it's so touching to hear them talk.. about everything and anything.. Chin boon was sitting at the back with me.. and we were simply crapping around behind too.. in fact, chin boon was crapping with alvin's dad.. asking about his dinner and stuff.. haha.. talkin about soccer.. and then chin boon told me he din understand anything about the soccer stuff they were talking about.. haha.. so funny.. went home late.. mum was real mad.. but that's the end.. keke..
today, went to school for only 40 mins of lesson.. boring.. had a good sleep on the bus on the way there.. haha.. met alvin when i was buying corn before i went home.. he wore the shirt i got him.. never wash!!! haha.. but thankfully, the shirt fit him just nice.. keke.. and thankfully he likes the shirt too.. haha.. shall end here.. got to go do my projects.. study for exams.. take care peeps.. think the next time i really have something to blog about would be national day le.. haha.. till then... =D
